This was my original design for the inside of my CD case and although I feel this one looks more professional and emotive than our new design we had to change it due to it being too a like to 2Chainz album artwork and we did not want to take any risks in plagiarism. Although the girl is not in the flame and I had changed the colours and position of the text it still looks very a like as it is a simple design and we decided to change it.
Final inside to Panflet:
I changed the cover to now have three candles. Although I still prefer the original one this one has worked well. The use of three candles is one to symbolise Connor, one for Lily and one for his problems. I decided to use the black background as this allowed the light to stand out and create the impact that we wanted it to, as it being a simple image if it was on a light background you would not have got the desired effect. I went ahead and placed the parental advisory sign in the top right hand corner as when it was position in the bottom the picture followed a line diagonally and I felt the picture was too cluttered in certain parts.
Overall, our inside to the CD case went really well as we have managed to create an effective, emotive picture but yet not have too much going on as this is not the main focus within the digipak. We have once again stuck to the colours of black and gold.
